The lock icon (indicating a secure site) will appear on your screen when you click the Checkout button.

You can verify that you are on a secure site in two ways:

1. After you click "Checkout", right-click on the checkout page that is asking for your personal information. Then click Properties at the bottom of the box that appears. You will see that the address starts with https -- the "s" at the end of http indicates that you are on a secure site.

2. Click on "View Cart" icon at the very top of any page. Then when you click the blue "Checkout" button, you WILL see the lock icon on the page. Internet Explorer 6 shows this icon at the bottom right side of the page. The new Internet Explorer 7 shows the lock icon at the top of the page just after the web address. Netscape 8 tells you you have requested an encrypted page and then shows the lock icon at the top of the page just after the web address.
